How do the food scans work?

Point your camera at a meal, a barcode, or a nutrition label. KalTrack analyses the photo and estimates calories and macros. You get a few free scans each day; KalTrack Pro unlocks unlimited scans.

What does KalTrack Pro include?

Unlimited AI food scans plus full macro insights. It is available monthly ($9.99/month) or yearly ($29.99/year), each with a 7-day free trial.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling before the trial ends means you will not be charged. We do not have a cancellation flow of our own to trap you in — Apple's is the only one, and it is two taps.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open KalTrack → Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.

Does KalTrack use Apple Health?

Optionally. With your permission it reads steps, active energy, and weight to adjust your daily calorie budget, and can write the calories and macros you log back to Health. You control this in the Health app or in iOS Settings.

How accurate are the estimates?

They are estimates, not measurements. A photo cannot show you the oil in the pan or the weight of the rice under the curry, so KalTrack reports what it can see and lets you correct it. The accuracy page explains where it goes wrong and what to do about it.

Can I fix an estimate that is wrong?

Yes — that is the intended workflow, not a fallback. Confirm or adjust the portion and the app tightens the number. Correcting a scan takes two taps and is faster than searching a database.

Does it work offline?

Your diary does. Entries are stored on your device and sync when you are back online. Scanning needs a connection, because the analysis runs on our server.

Is my meal photo stored?

No. It is sent to the analysis service, used to produce the estimate, and not stored on our servers. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including which third parties are involved.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. KalTrack is iPhone-only today. Android is in development and there is no date to promise.

How do I delete my data?

Email us and we will delete it. There is no dark pattern here.
